MIS Fuel Monitoring will be highlighting its Merridale Fuel Works web-based Fuel Management Service at the forthcoming Commercial Vehicle Show. Fuelling at the depot has been simplified by using new methods for obtaining the vehicle mileage recording.
Merridale has introduced a vehicle mounted wireless transponder which can communicate directly with the Merridale Fuel management system without the need to involve any data carrying device. Alternatively the Merridale data monitoring system can be integrated with vehicle telematics server to obtain the vehicle’s odometer reading or distance travelled information.
“By recording mileage information automatically, we have simplified the transaction,” explains sales director, Stephen Hannan. “All we need to do at the fuelling point is authenticate the vehicle which is a simple procedure using either data tag, data key,mag card, manual entry or vLink vehicle mounted device.”
“An important advantage of using the Merridale web based fuel management system is that Merridale will be committed to the on-going operational reliability of the client’s depot monitoring system. It is a long term partnership with mutual interests. From the start, Merridale will provide online training, help set up the client’s database and configure the operational reporting requirements.”
On the hardware side, Merridale pumps and tank management accessories have been proven to be exceptionally reliable. Should service issues arise, fleet operators can be assured that Merridale has the expertise and resources required to keep their depot equipment working efficiently.”
