Merridale Limited will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with two successful landmark developments in commercial vehicle depot refuelling equipment. The evolution of FuelWorks, Merridale’s web-based reporting service, has now been followed up by the successful launch of the MX Series.
Currently there are over 1300 fuelling sites across the UK being monitored daily by FuelWorks. On the hardware side, the introduction of the MX Series underwrites the higher standards required for quality and reliability that is essential to achieve best practice in fuel dispensing. Merridale products cover every operational requirement, from single point dispensers to depot networks and multiple product, pump installations.
“The success of the new MX Series has enabled Merridale to consolidate its market share as an industry leader. An important part of this is that customers know that Merridale will continue to support previous generation equipment to ensure optimum service life.”
Fully certified and compliant with ATEX for diesel standards, the MX Series sets the bar for robust construction, reliability in operation, accuracy and durability. The range covers fuel pumps and dispensers, integral pump and fuel management units, stand-alone fuel management systems and tank management systems. Merridale also provide combinations and options for AdBlueTM (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) dispensing.
Equipment enclosures are all stainless steel to ensure maximum service life as well as being aesthetically pleasing. The pump units are more compact to make the best use of available space. The design also allows for easy installation and access to key components for maintenance.
Customers can specify from a range of options for user keypads and access devices. All MX elements are designed to be fully compatible with each other to enable seamless integration. Merridale equipment is also backwardly compatible with previous ranges of equipment, an important feature for upgrading existing installations.
Whilst defined as a new generation, the MX Series brings together proven technologies such as processors, hydraulics and motors with an innovative approach to functionality, such as a new pump display incorporating a totaliser as standard.
Summarising its progress, sales director, Stephen Hannan said. “The success of the new MX Series has enabled Merridale to consolidate its market share as an industry leader. An important part of this is that customers know that Merridale will continue to support previous generation equipment to ensure optimum service life.”
