Luke Genner – Sales Engineer
Luke joins us from a field sales background working in FMCG to end user and supplying to distribution companies within an automotive tooling role. With a wealth of sales knowledge and a thirst for exceeding customers’ expectations and needs, Luke is looking to help boost Merridale’s already great reputation.
“A salesman needs to understand the customer’s needs before finding the right package for their requirements and their budget. Nobody would allow a doctor to prescribe medication without first diagnosing the problem, customers deserve the same standards when dealing with a sales team.”
“It’s a great team to be a part of, everybody wants to do their best for Merridale and its customers. We all want to help each other as much as possible. It has been eye-opening for me, having been at some larger companies where the staff don’t seem to want to be there.”
Matthew Sidaway, Marketing & Communications – Merridale
“I have joined the expanding team at Merridale to maintain the strong existing relationships that Merridale have with their current users and to help introduce new customers to the benefits of our systems. I intend on working closely with customers from the point of initial contact through to job completion and beyond, with a view to ensuring they get the best package for themselves. Merridale already have great after-sales support and I want to help build on that.”
Matthew Sidaway – Marketing & Communications
Matt joined the team in June in order to bring Merridale’s marketing efforts in-house and to assist the sales team with any advertising needs. He spent the previous few years gaining vital experience within the marketing departments of two very well-known companies, having initially been trained in journalism and then working as a copywriter.
“It’s a great team to be a part of, everybody wants to do their best for Merridale and its customers. We all want to help each other as much as possible. It has been eye-opening for me, having been at some larger companies where the staff don’t seem to want to be there.”
“When everyone is working together on the same side and it is more than ‘just a job’ to them, customers can rest assured that they will be getting the service and quality they expect.”
