Merridale were proud to be the only original equipment manufacturer of fuel management systems present at the show who are solely dedicated to supplying the commercial fuelling market. They showcased their complete MX range of refuelling equipment and management products, as well as their web-based reporting software, Merridale FuelWorks.

Merridale’s National Sales Manager, Paul Russell, exclaimed “We enjoyed a very successful few days at the CV Show this year and being the last man standing from our sector was something we were able to take advantage of. There was lots of dialogue with not just potential customers but with plenty of existing Merridale users too, which gives us a great opportunity to check in and get feedback.”

The show has played an important part in the development and growth of Merridale who have been represented continuously there since they entered the market in 1995 with the UK’s first fuel management software designed for Windows-based office computers.

Since then, a lot has changed for Merridale in terms of its equipment and technology. In what marks their 28th year of operation, they continue to be a market leader for fuel management manufacturing and are at the forefront of quality and design.

Paul continued “Exhibiting at the CV Show gives us the opportunity to engage those fleet operators and understand what they need when it comes to fuel management. By having those discussions and taking away valuable feedback, we can shape and develop our products and services to cater for specific and relevant needs within the industry.”

“The scope of Merridale’s products has grown from basic reporting systems to sophisticated data analysis and management packages. On the hardware side, we have a full range of depot refuelling equipment and tank management systems, which now include theft/sudden drop detection. New features like this have been incorporated because of open dialogue with customers at places like the CV show. Merridale’s willingness to listen to the needs of current and potential customers enables us to incorporate such features and ensure we remain the go-to fuel management solution for all fleet operators.”
